The Kills hit North America again, with and without The Raconteurs

Chicago to California to New York, The Kills are traveling the United States and Canada for the second time this year, hitting up 20 cities from August to October.

Jamie “Hotel” Hince and Alison “VV” Mosshart are supporting their third album, March’s Midnight Boom, and will spend part of the tour opening for The Raconteurs.

New Oasis album to be released October 7

Dig Out Your Soul, the seventh studio album by Oasis, will be released Oct. 7, 2008.

“It’s gonna sound great live, which is the most important thing,” said Noel Gallagher in a June interview with talkSPORT.

Stars announce U.S. tour, release video for new single

In continued support for their 2007 album In Our Bedroom After the War, Stars announced a three-week North American tour and debuted the video for their new single, “Bitches in Tokyo.”

The Montreal band will perform at various festivals in Europe and Canada, along with San Fransisco’s Outside Lands Festival on Aug. 24, before kicking off their U.S. tour on Sept. 16 in Boston.

Outside Lands updated daily lineup revealed

The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival expanded their lineup to include Toots & the Maytals, Rogue Wave, The Walkmen, Mike Gordon, Abigail Washburn & the Sparrow Quartet ft. Bela Fleck, Vienna Teng, Howlin’ Rain, Everest, The Dynamites and Carney.

Kings of Leon album to drop September 23

Tentatively titled Only by the Night, Kings of Leon’s fourth album will hit stores on Sept. 22 in the UK and Sept. 23 in America.

The band co-produced the album with Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King. Two of the songs, “Crawl” and “Cold Desert,” can be found on youtube.
